Trip Focus: Student School Ministry with kids and youth of the local community.

The Natal, Brazil Student team will fly from San Antonio, TX through Rio de Janeiro or Sau Paulo, to Natal, Brazil.

In Natal, we will be serving alongside the brothers and sister of our international campus, OHC Natal. We will support the church's ongoing ministry initiatives by serving in shantytowns and favelas around the Natal campus. Under the direction of OHC Natal leaders, team members will be involved in student and sport ministry with the children and youth of the community. Regardless of your experience or language knowledge, God can use your spiritual gifts to serve people in need and build His kingdom in Brazil. You will also make amazing new friendships with our Brazilian counterparts.

Team Itinerary (tentative)
June 19-20: Depart San Antonio, TX on 20th, arrive in Natal on the 21st
June 21: Settle into hotel
June 22-23: Orientation from national leadership team, begin student ministry retreat. Worship with Natal church family in the evening of the 24th.
June 24-25: Playground construction and sports ministry
June 26: Bless the vendors! Team usually enjoy the beach, sand dunes, and souvenir shopping
June 27: Depart Natal for Texas
June 28: Arrive in Texas

Trip Details:

Total Trip Cost: $2,500. Land cost is $1,250; all inclusive: meals, lodging, in-country transportation, insurance, interpreters, bottled water, sightseeing, ministry supplies, etc. Airfare cost is $1,250; OHC MUST arrange all Airfare travel.

Place of Stay: Local hotel with a double or triple occupancy hotel with hot shower & bathroom accommodations in each room. A full breakfast buffet is served each day. This hotel is located in the heart of the city.

Trip Orientation/Meetings: We will have several Team meetings prior to our trip. We will provide you with a Team Informational Packet at the 1st Team Meeting. Team Meetings are required and will focus on building team unity, learning about the culture of our designated country, discuss & plan for our in-country service. All Team meetings will be held at the Fredericksburg Campus.
