At Oak Hills Church, we envision a future where the love of Christ is felt by everyone in our city and beyond. Such a vision is only possible through all-campus participation in events like Manos de Cristo (Hands of Christ).
Manos de Cristo is Oak Hill’s annual service project of packing 5,000 shoeboxes filled with Christmas gifts (toys, school supplies, and essential toiletries) and delivering them to needy children in communities in our city and beyond. This is a great opportunity for our families to talk about generosity and faith together, as we involve our kids in the preparation of and prayer over the shoebox gift.
Operation Christmas Child PartnershipHOW TO PACK A BOX
This year, the Alamo Ranch and Crownridge campuses are once again partnering with Samaritan’s Purse and Operation Christmas Child for the logistics and distribution of our Manos de Cristo boxes. One of the benefits of working with Operation Christmas Child is that each box will go to a child who has never before received such a gift, and has likely never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In addition to the box, each child will receive a Bible story booklet in their language and be invited into a 12-week Bible study, where they’ll receive a Bible of their own upon completion.
