Rosario (Rosie) Ortiz, M.Ed., LPC is a native of a south Texas, a bilingual licensed counselor, and has the ability to understand and connect with a wide range of people and issues, especially the Hispanic culture. She serves children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, either individually or in group settings, and has a passion for working with the elderly, and those who are facing end of life and terminal illness issues.
Rosie is also a doctoral student in the counselor and supervision program at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX. She has a broad clinical background, including completed trainings in Neurofeedback, Play Therapy, Grief and Loss/Death and Dying, and numerous other evidenced-based clinical practices. Regardless of the issue, her clients are met with compassion and understanding, and experience a safe and empathetic atmosphere in which to develop peace and personal growth.
