Operation Christmas Child Partnership
At Oak Hills Church, we’re sharing authentic love and being disciples who make disciples by spreading good news and great joy in partnership with Operation Christmas Child. The mission of Operation Christmas Child is two-fold: To provide God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world through shoeboxes filled with Christmas gifts (toys, school supplies, and essential toiletries) and to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ at festive outreach events where children are surprised with these shoebox gifts.

Authentic Love
Each box will go to a child who has never before received such a gift and has likely never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The project delivers not only joy, but also gives a tangible expression of God’s love. Jesus authentically loved all people, and we will too.

Disciples who make Disciples
We’re committed to guiding all people to follow Jesus moment by moment, and that includes children around the world! In addition to the shoebox gift, each child will receive a Bible story booklet in their language and be invited into a 12-week Bible study, where they’ll receive a Bible of their own upon completion. Learn more about Samaritan's Purse evangelism and discipleship program HERE.

Family Focus
At Oak Hills Church, we are excited to partner with families to raise the next generation of Jesus followers. This annual service project is a great opportunity for our families to talk about generosity and faith together, as we involve our kids in the preparation of and prayer over the shoebox gift. Download the “7 Ideas for Family Impact” resource HERE.

Radical Generosity
Everything we are and everything we have is devoted to serving God and serving others. Consider one of 3 ways you can participate in our annual service project.

  1. Pack a Shoebox In-Person: Pick-up a box at OHC in the worship center lobby on Oct. 27 or Nov. 3. Pack your box and return it to OHC worship center lobby on Nov. 10 or 17 or drop it off during the week, Nov. 18 - 24, 9 AM - 4 PM, West Auditorium Entrance.
  2. Build a Shoebox Online: Bless children around the world without leaving home. Click HERE to start building your shoebox online and help OHC meet our goal of 500 online shoeboxes.
  3. Serve with OHC: Register to volunteer HERE to serve with our OCC Shoebox team to help distribute empty plastic boxes, receive packed boxes, and load boxes for drop-off.
