Trip Details
Focus: Youth & Children’s Ministry, Discipleship, Evangelism
This summer, high school students have the opportunity to bring hope and joy to Anchorage, Alaska, through outreach in city parks. We’ll set up Vacation Bible School activities in city parks, offering engaging Bible lessons, crafts, recreation, and games for children and youth. In the evenings, we’ll host park parties and invite the community to experience the love of Jesus through food, fellowship, and fun. This mission trip provides a chance to grow in faith, build your community, and share Christ’s love with unchurched families and individuals in a welcoming, meaningful way.
Mission Partners: Graceworks Alaska is committed to transforming lives in Alaska, the least church-attending state in the U.S., by bringing the Good News of Jesus to those who have yet to experience new life in Him. Through meaningful mission trip opportunities, we partner with churches and individuals to share the Gospel and demonstrate Christ’s love through service to diverse communities.
Trip Highlights:
- Stay in bunk-like housing, growing in faith together through worship and daily devotionals.
- Spend the day in city parks around Anchorage ministering to children through VBS activities and building relationships with the community.
- Explore Alaska’s wildlife with hikes, glacier exploration, and potential moose sightings.
