Pereira, Colombia
The Colombia team will fly from San Antonio to Colombia. While in country, the team will serve with our missionary partner, ILI Colombia, ministering through a Sport & Youth ministry, providing VBS and Soccer camps to youth living in the poor neighborhoods of Pereira. Many of these children have not been outside the city or have been exposed to Bible teaching through VBS or Soccer Camps. The team will also conduct two festivals in the town of Chichina and La Union sharing with them in games and fun activities while also sharing with them the Gospel.
Tentative Schedule:
Thursday, 7/27: Arrival in Pereira. Team Orientation & Preparation for VBS/Soccer Camp
Friday - Sunday, 7/28-30: VBS/Soccer Camp in Pereira. 3 full days/2 nights at camp site.
Monday, 7/31: Team rest and sightseeing and exploration.
Tuesday, 8/01-8/2: Two evangelistic festivals with various games and teaching to expose the entire community to the Gospel of Christ in Chichina and La Union.
Friday, 8/04 (Updated): Depart to San Antonio, TX
