Moise and Altagrace Toussaint

Meet Our Missionaries

Moise and Altagrace Toussaint, an indigenous missionary couple, have been married for over 40 years. They serve their church and community in Cap Haitien, Haiti. They have two adult children, one grandchild, and are raising two children who were given to the church on their doorstep. Moise worked as a handyman for a preaching school ministry before pursuing a seminary degree to become a Pastor and start a church. Altagrace spent over 25 years caring for children at a Christian orphanage. Before founding their church, they started a daily feeding center on their rooftop after Moise completed seminary. They have conducted many weddings, funerals, small Bible and prayer groups, and school events, to further deepen their connection with their community through the years, and for new generational Kingdom expansion. This relationship was built over many years through short term mission teams traveling and working alongside the Toussaint family.

Ministry Work

The vision that Moise & Altagrace desire is to see lives transformed through the power of Christ and to mobilize others to live with purpose and obedience to God’s mission. Mahilah.co is building bridges between communities and the gospel, equipping individuals to embrace their God-given identity and step into the calling on their lives. They have been and continue serving some of the neediest people for years through a feeding center, school, orphanage, elderly/widow home care, preacher training/mentoring and church-planting. They established the first church family in their community known as “Sovereign Church”, and Moise and Altagrace have Pastored that church for over 25 years. From that church family, Moise and Altagrace have and continue to mentor preaching students and Bible class teachers, to share the Gospel. Their consistent progress is a testament to God's faithfulness and to the dedication of those serving in the field.

Prayer Requests

  • Pray for spiritual awakening and the gospel to reach throughout Haiti, and for many to turn away from voodoo and demonic practices to Christ.
  • Pray for peace, stability, economic sustainability, and protection.
  • Pray for the Sovereign Church and Oboy Church, as they continue to grow deeper in Christ, and share what they are learning with others in their communities.
  • Pray for emerging church leaders, in both churches, to reach the next generations with the message of the gospel.
